Welcome to the healing Island, Miyakojima
The Miyako Islands are located about midway through the Ryukyu Arc, which is shaped like a bow from northeast to southwest. The islands are in a mesh, connecting at latitude 24 to 25 degrees north and longitude 125 to 126 degrees east. The islands are about 300 km southwest from Okinawa’s Main Island, where Naha City is located, and 130 km east northeast of Ishigaki Island. The entire island is flat with a low plateau. Yukudaki Mountain, 114 m, is the highest point.
